           No body can organize, educate and counsel to relieve you from internet addictions that indirectly cause stressing, your life style with numerous physical disturbances as well mental strain unless, you personally accept the default in your time management and perfection in planning.

          Television, mobile and internet…they were luxury then and changed to comfort later and now almost a necessity. Education is necessary to humanity to learn the nature of behavior in order to lead successful, learned mannerisms to interact with one and another with unity. Education tries to help young people to grow and develop, to acquire knowledge and skills and to learn to relate well with the things and people around.
           The Swiss schoolmaster, Pestalozzi, was the first to realize that the educator can draw great advantage from a study of the minds of pupils and the art of education must be based on an accurate knowledge of mental life. The science of psychology must be basic to such an attempt as it explains how young people grow, what cognitive capacities develop to what extent at different stages of life, what dominant interests move the several stages of development, how they differ from one another and grow at different rates; how to learn new skills, acquire new knowledge, interaction with classmates and teachers and to develop different characteristic features under the influence of environment. It helps the child to grow physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Creative kind of education with understanding heart is at low rate these days and stress is ruled in all states of life especially in education life.
Common stress factors of the Pupil:
1. The peaceful atmosphere is interrupted to maximum extent and fear of stress has occupied the minds of the pupil due to lack of understanding of the concept and time management.
2. Freedom to interact and right to express their interest and ideas are given less time to promote their innate abilities. This in turn causes immense stress in children.
3. Fast foods generation has diminished the nutritional concept of balanced diet with fresh and healthy foods and timely consumption of the diet with good company.
4. Lack of sharing opinions, interests and ideas cause stress to the pupil. Creative programmed schedule, which consists of art, music, games, dance, are at neglected end.
5. The standards of international concepts are established in almost many places around the world where parents find less time to spend with their children to encourage and appreciate them. This cause stress in pupil and they often develop negative emotions like grief, sorrow, fear and anger.
6. Games and extra co-curricular activities develop all round development in the child, which is almost at neglected end. The child is accused when he takes time at his interest as waste of time. Fear overrules his ambition and cause stress.
7.Teaching aids are being used only at certain schools around the world and trained teachers who are specialized at their subjects are less presented on overall basis that cause children to undergo stress with out proper understanding of the concept of their respective lesson.
8. Well furnished furniture, laboratory, library, dining area, playground and toilets are neglected at  many schools that give stress to children.Manhandling and use of abusive language or harsh words cause immense stress in children.
9. The statistics are taken all around the world to make the child most fortunate one but often neglect to give them the freedom to express their necessities. In this world of modern technology, the child is being encouraged to learn the concepts irrespective of their age where he cannot be supervised or guided to learn the moral values with the attention of his family. This in turn cause stress in children to avoid the unnecessary concepts learned, watched, or listened due to unhealthy means of exposure.

b)     Incomplete observation: Every theme should be completed with constructive end for the well-being of the society. Incomplete project cause stress, where the completion depends on overall observation to stand as the best example.
c)      Habits of biased perception: Influence of others at work with out self-credibility cause stress. Credible and able mind always enjoys work with self-efficiency and hard work.

This network, the corpus collosum, shuttles information backward and forward between the two halves of the brain. The left brain specializes in what are commonly labeled `academic’ aspects of learning-language and mathematical process, logical thoughts, sequences analysis,speaking,reading,writing,using symbols categorizing, idea linking,judgement ,managing time, abstracting and so on.
           The right brain is principally concerned with `creative’ activities utilizing rhyme, rhythm, music, visual impressions, colour and pictures. It is our metaphorical mind looking for analogies and patterns, intangible ideas such as love, beauty and loyalty.Thus we use our right brain for visualizing visual memory, spatial perception, seeing whole things at once,synthesizing,awareness without description, recognizing similarities,insight,`feeling’ our way, relating things to the present, intention and so on.
Creative Process:
Preparation: Prepared mind can discover. A person with a problem gathers data as the ground for solution.
Incubation: A creative thinker contemplates on an idea to find a solution to the problem that is bothering him. When he does not get it, he suspends doing anything and hits upon a way out.
Illumination: This is getting insight. This transforms the individual from a state of groin miserably and helplessly to state of mastery and ecstasy.
Revision: The individual evaluates his hypothesis, submits himself to critical appraisal and even abandons his hypothesis if sufficient proof was not available.
Impersonal objectivity characterizes the product of creativity.
J.P.Guilford’s pioneer work in the area of measurement of creativity stressed divergent thought production as the real creative output because of factor analytic studies of the indicators of creativity.

CREATIVE - UNDERSTANDING TEACHER RELIEVES STRESS

A good teacher is like a candle.It consumes itself to light the way for others.
Thousands of candles can be lighted by a single candle,and the life of the candle will not be shortened.Knowledge with wisdom and happiness with peace never decreases by being shared.

                   The teacher is the pivot of the educational system. Teacher is the real maker of history and undoubtedly the torchbearer of progress of civilization.
Prof.Humayun Kabir states: Without good teachers, even the best of system is bound to fail. With good teachers, even the worst of system can be largely overcome. There is a need of good teachers who have some unique qualities with creative mind to encourage their students with positive attitude and to make them confident with sincere effort. They are also expected to act as social reformer, moralist, and national integrator. The teacher is an important figure and he is expected to remain important in our society. He should be able to study the stress factors in his students and encourage them to overcome stress efficiently with his affection and consideration.

The different qualities of a teacher can be put into four categories:
1. Qualifications and experiences.
2. Qualities concerning professional requirements.
3. Qualities pertaining to personality.
4. Qualities of relationship with others.
Functions of the teacher:
            Every teacher has to perform a number of functions. The important duties of a teacher are:

  1. TEACHING: The teacher’s main duty is of teaching the children. He does this duty in the classroom situation in a very formal way. He in fact, is a model to the learner. They may learn from him formally or in an informal way. Therefore, he must be a good model for the student. He will be able to do his duty more efficiently only if he has mastery over his subject. He should be well interested in it. All his efforts should be to make his teaching more and more successful. He should have latest information on the subject. He should also have sufficient knowledge of the allied subjects. He should enter his class with all the necessary teaching aids required, at least not less than five to help his students understand the concept well as education system trains these values in their course. This makes him a better teacher and a person that relieves stress out of his students.
  2. ORGANIZING: Teachers duty does not end up with the classroom teaching. He is part of school life.Organizing of a school and its proper functioning is not the duty of the headmaster or management alone. He is also required to share the responsibilities with them. Moreover, the head master assigns some duties such as organizing some co-curricular activities.Organizing and celebration of a school tasks to develop all round development of the students to relieve them out of stress and to promote their interests to cherish with health and happiness.
  3. SUPERVISING: A teacher is an organizer and supervisor too. In this capacity, he is expected to supervise the work assigned to him by the headmaster. He is required to supervise the attendance of the pupil, their day to-days work checking the home tasks given to the students and to take concern in over all activities of the development of his students.
  4. EXAMINING AND EVALUATING: Testing, examining or evaluating the learner is another important duty of the teacher. Examining the students through written and verbal statements is an important duty. The students are also able to know about their drawbacks. The parents get satisfaction when they come to know how their wards have fared in the examination.
  5. RECORDING: Maintaining record of students work is also the duty of the teacher. Daily attendance, marks of the students, writing report of the students is the duty of the teacher.
  6. GUIDANCE: The teacher is a sort of guide for the students in all matters. He is to act as a father, a brother, a guide, a path shower to the students. For the selection of the subjects, selection of a career. The students seek the guidance of he teacher. He should also try to understand the feeling of the students. Thus, he will be able to guide them better and relieve them from stress causing factors.
  7. ESTABLISHING RELATIONS: Establishment of relations with the community, through the student community is badly needed. Formation of parent teacher association is a step towards strengthening the relationship between the parents and the teacher. He should also develop healthy and co-ordinal relations with his colleagues, the boss, and the controlling body. The teacher’s duty is not only to teach in the classroom but he is expected to carry other duties as well with equal care. Creative teacher relieves stress in his students by counseling them to choose the best concepts in which they are interested in, to serve the society. Only then, he will be able to do justice to the fair name of his respectable profession that is very important to all humanity.

Creativity relieves stress


“Creativity is a process of becoming sensitive to problems, deficiencies, gaps in knowledge, missing elements, dis-harmonies and so on, identifying the difficulties; searching for solutions, making guesses, or formulating hypothesis about the deficiencies; testing and retesting these hypothesis and possibly modifying and retesting them; and finally communicating the results.”-E.P.Terrance.
               Researchers’ of William and Mary College, Washington-Stated that, Creativity that gives extraordinary and exclusive thinking is being eventually decreasing now, when compared to tests held during early 1970’s.Under the leadership of Kuing Hi Kim different types of creativity tests named Torrents’ were conducted to different children and found that the creative ability of the children all over the world is declined due to lack of time management and proper planning by the parents as well as teachers. Television and video games have conquered their precious minds.
          Creativity relieves stress as it, is that aspect of intelligence, which is characterized by the ever sprouting of ideas. It is not the gift of a few. Every human being has the creative potential. It varies from person to person in its type of expression.It is the ability exemplified by the inventiveness of generative mental processes. Creativity involves not one but many abilities and productivity. The creative artists and writers have been found to be stress less, more intelligent, emotionally sensitive and mature,unconventional,radicle and adventurous.
             Creativity that relieves stress is the product of knowledge, imagination and judgement.It means acquiring detailed background knowledge of the subject is the way to creativity because almost all new ideas are simply a recombination of existing ideas. The creative person always knows a lot about his subject. A flash of inspiration comes out of background of expert knowledgeable.
               The common thread in all creativity is the combination of old elements in new ways. Every book written in English is made up of words that are composed only of twenty-six letters. Creativity relieves stress when every thing in the world is transformed in a new way though known long back.
              Creativity as a process, as a product, as a potential, as characteristic personality and as an out comes of creative process in the environment. On following all these approaches, the following factors of creativity could be arrived at:
     Factors of Creativity:
Keen observation: of both the minute and larger aspects of anything, discovering the new and the strange in already familiar objects and events.
Creative perception: Novel and flexibility in perception. Fresh and wholistic perception. Viewing objects and events from new and varied angles.
Curiosity and sensitivity to problems: Posting questions, enthusiasm to know, enquiring to probe into depths of anything unknown, guessing, and wondering.
Capacity for divergent thinking-Fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration can be exhibited at various stages of creative process. Divergent ways of dealing with traditional topics.
Capacity to evaluate and judge against criteria of relevance, originality, simplicity, elegance, aesthetic appeal, economy etc., as also capacity to generate these criteria themselves.Therefore, creativity relieves stress in all respects.

NEEDS TO RELIEVE STRESS - 3



Self-actualization Needs-for becoming, what one is potentially capable of being, for exercising one’s capacities, the need to grow and to become.It helps to relieve oneself from stress.
                     A particular need does not have to be completely satisfied before satisfaction of a higher level need is sought.Self-actualization means that one seeks to be, and is, as much of what he can be and wants to be as is possible. It implies a satisfaction with self and the world but does not mean contentment or cessation of vigorous and productive living. It means openness to new experiences and an awareness of one’s deeper feelings. It means that one is creative, uses his potential and seeks to release his potential. The self-actualized person is devoted to a cause. It implies complete absorption in some task or goal. It means the making of choices –which in turn means the freedom and faith in oneself that makes choosing possible. To actualize oneself the first step is an examination of one’s own life purposes and processes. This need is also called the need for self-expression and self-realization as everyone has inherent craving for the expression of one’s self and actualization of one’s potentials.
                 Hetero static impulses push them for new experiences. Children have a compulsive desire to touch and feel everything that can be reached. Schoolchildren reveal the need in their constant desire to go at a wider range of activity to see new things and places. An adolescent wants to find out for himself. Adults devote their time to travel or do research. Hence, experience approach satisfies curiosity and discovery of the gap between what the teachers teach and what is learned already that relieves them from stress.
                The real core of creative intelligence and inspiring teaching is providing a balance between encouraging spontaneous curiosity, the sparking of interests, and the kindling of enthusiasm and the necessity for providing focus and mastery of skills and insights Hence self-actualization can be a goal for schoolchildren.It can be termed as a need that relieve children from stress and relax their mind and body.
Aesthetic Needs:
                            For beauty, symmetry, closure and stable structure (perceived mainly in very healthy persons) appreciating moments of joy, exaltation and beauty. They enquire about the meaning of existence, wonder in the order of natural phenomena and systematic functioning of the universe. They want to find out the truth of anything and everything. They seek to find out what is beyond our comprehension of experiences of the five senses, the unknown, the truth or the source of life. They move towards unconditional goodness, love and action that relieve them from stress.
                    Therefore, all the above mentioned needs relieve oneself from stress to lead a happy,healthy  and confident life.

Belonging and love needs-for being wanted and appreciated, for being loved and being able to love.
                  The individual needs to love and be loved if he is to develop into a happy and productive person. Children know when they are genuinely loved. If the children are cuddled, and rocked they become more active, and take interest in things. Loving care of parents, patience and kindness of teachers who maintain a friendly and empathetic atmosphere in the classroom are necessary. The higher the degree to which one is loved, the higher the capacity to love will develop.
                    Man is gregarious. He needs to associate with people, and belong to the group. Removing the child from group is often an effective means of checking deviant behavior in school. Courteous behavior helps to develop sympathy, tolerance, and respect for others. Companionship provides the opportunity to gratify the need to love and be loved.Freedom; equality and justice are also basic to the satisfaction of need for companionship.
                  Lack of love at home may contribute to certain problem behaviors like suspiciousness, aloofness, and fear. Besides them, drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution, vagrancy, lack of drive towards accomplishment, and lack of application, lassitude, and antisocial behavior also are seen. Love provides a lubricant to help life flow more smoothly. Understanding children, knowing their interests and having a dialogue with them develop warm relationships. Group discussions provide some of the needed companionship sharing responsibility, pooling opinions, taking part in co-operative actions and capitalizing on individual potentialities.
Esteem needs: For being wanted because, one is good, worthy, able; the individual must feel that he is admired for qualities and skills he has. People need to achieve either in athletic activities, or in intellectual pursuits, or in improving moral living. It depends upon his talents and the environment in which he is.
             Adults in the community and pupils in the school want to be `somebody’. Each person needs to feel that he is worthwhile, that he has something of value to give to others; others seek his advice, aid and companionship because he is noteworthy. Recognition tends to give the pupil a feeling of confidence in himself and provides an incentive to tackle new problems.
             Satisfaction of the need for recognition may come from socially undesirable behavior as well as from approved behavior.Example: Delinquency, due to lack of recognition for achievement at school or for importance at home. Teachers can praise meritorious successes as well as honest efforts. They can also encourage the group to recognize and praise the work of members of the class. Avoiding blame of failure especially if it is due to lack of ability and avoiding shame, sarcasm, ridicule and comparisons by teachers and parents provide for ease in participation. Neatness of dress, habits of cleanliness, considerate treatment of siblings, regular attendance, and development of some specific asset are to be appreciated.
